Sometimes it is convenient to review some further information about a resource from a general search without clicking through to the detailed page for that resource. You can do this by using the preview pane selector icon shown under resources in each rail:
For experts, as an example, the preview pane shows key information including photo (if available), areas of expertise, and top ranking publications (in terms of relevance)
You can see the full profile by clicking on "View Profile".
