The konfer business directory uses public data from Companies House including registered office details, date of incorporation, trading status, basic financial data (turnover, net assets) and active directors. Director names are not shown in the konfer business directory. In addition, konfer incorporates public domain details of company research activities, including grant funded research.
konfer augments and enriches this data using machine learning and natural language processing technology to enable intelligent categorisation, search and discovery. As part of this process, konfer will, where possible, identify company websites and email addresses. These may be used for communication of collaboration and other opportunities to individuals, in their capacity as company representatives, in accordance with konfer's privacy policy.
